Senator of the Czech Republic František Čuba and the member of the Committee for Agriculture of the Zlín Region welcomed Chinese investors interested in investing into Czech agricultural sector more than half a billion CZK.
“Cooperation with Chinese investors can be a push forward for the Czech agriculture. During our negotiations we emphasize our intention that the investment also brings new incentives for the Czech citizens, for example new job opportunities or new technologies brought to the Czech Republic by these firms” say Doc. Ing. František Čuba, CSc., who is also a honorary president of the Czech-Slovak-Chinese Chamber.
Representatives of the Chinese investors were very enthusiastic and decided to buy the land and start with the construction of industrial areas with the capacity for the whole Central Europe in the course of the few following months. The investors would also like to cooperate with the Czech University of Agriculture.
“Chinese partners would also like to build a technology center to invent new technologies to enhance Czech agriculture. The support from president Miloš Zeman is also crucial. His friendly ties to the Chinese president Xi Jingping open the door to Czech businesses in China but also to new investments in the Czech Republic that our country needs,” Mr. Čuba adds.
